This is an update from the Association on the latest position on the enforcement of Possession Orders, following the latest notice from the Policy Manager, Civil Procedure and Enforcement Policy MoJ on possession proceedings under CPR Part 55, which comprehensively Stay's the enforcement of Writs of Possession.

Subject: 117th Practice Direction Update to the Civil Procedure Rules - Coronavirus Pandemic related

This Practice Direction applies to all proceedings for possession brought under CPR 55 and proceedings seeking to enforce an order for possession by a warrant or writ for possession.
