The High Court Enforcement Officers Association held its Annual General meeting at Yew Tree Lodge on May 20th 2011.

This year's AGM was attended by all classes of members, along with two representatives from the Ministry of Justice. The day started out with our Chairman - Martin Leyshon welcoming everyone to the AGM followed on by his report. There were five vacancies to the Board of Directors with six full members applying. The Board welcomed Peter Watt as its newest member, along with four other seasoned Board members.

Late morning and throughout the afternoon was action packed with various talks and presentations given. All in all, there were more attendees at this years AGM than there have been for a number of years, Martin Leyshon our chairman stated that “ I am delighted to have seen so many in attendance this year, they were not let down, as the quality of the talks and presentations were first class, this year's AGM was very educational and inspiring for many of the members, I was also encouraged to see so many student members in attendance, which is a testament to the Board that we have got the right mix”.

Nick Alexander, a full member stated, “I was also impressed with the educational proposals. It was also apparent that a lot of hard work has been put in by the committee members”.

Amir Ali, a student member stated, “Fantastic AGM on Friday - and many thanks for inviting me to attend. I enjoyed it immensely”.

“I felt, as did others that this year, it was all about what the Board as a collective and cohesive unit were doing to get the association to where it should be in the coming years”.

We are pleased to announce that for all full members who missed this years AGM please go to the members area to download all the presentations and reports that were given on the day.
